Upper School Outdoor Ed Trips Are a Success!

Last week, our ninth, eleventh, and twelfth grade students ventured into the great outdoors, traveling to El Capitan Canyon along the Santa Barbara coast, Grant’s Grove in Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park, and Camp Ramah in the Ojai Valley.
Ninth graders kicked off their first year of Upper School in the great outdoors with some kayaking, hiking, beachside bonding, and more! Most importantly, our students embraced challenges and made new friends by the end of the week. Click here for a full photo gallery of pictures from the ninth grade trip.

Juniors stood in awe of the third largest tree (by volume) in the world, walked through a fallen tree, and hiked under the supermoon! Please enjoy this photo gallery capturing eleventh grade’s trip north.

Our seniors tested their problem-solving skills and teamwork abilities, building handmade boats from various inflatables and objects. Once these Creative Thinkers completed their innovation, and two brave students per team paddled across the pool in a race!
