The Performing Arts Conservatory (PAC) offers an exciting after-school program with private instruction for beginner- through advanced-level students in grades K-12. The PAC faculty gives expert instruction in the techniques of each of the disciplines noted below. Many of the teachers currently have careers performing and recording a wide repertoire of music that includes rock, pop, classical, musical theater, and jazz.
Lessons are available on most weekdays between 2:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., with the exception of Wednesdays, with lessons beginning at 1:30 p.m. All lessons are arranged based on the schedule of the room, instructor, and student, and are purchased by the semester, determined by the maximum number of lessons available per grade level for that term, for lessons rendered on campus. Once a slot has been confirmed, the student will be privately registered through the Camp Brain billing system and the Buckley family will receive a confirmation for payment. Registration is not open publicly, due to the scheduling involved.
Please note that a 24-hour cancellation notice is required for prearranged absences, excluding unexpected illnesses or emergencies. Students and their instructors participating in the Buckley Conservatory are also offered the opportunity to have a formal recital in the Spring semester in the CCA.
If we do not have availability at the time of your request, we do have a waitlist that we do our best to honor when openings occur, in the order of when the name was put on the list. All students in the program are encouraged to continue their lessons, once in the Conservatory, so once a slot is attained and scheduled, it is honored every semester, as long as the student continues with lessons. If a slot is relinquished, then another name on the waiting list will be given the lesson slot.
