Description: Join Head Coach Sherrie and staff as they champion the next generation of basketball players. With over 12 years of coaching experience internationally, collegiately, and in grade school, Coach Sherrie brings a wealth of knowledge to the Buckley community both on and off the court. She is also the founder of 4WARD MVMT; an empowerment program for girls, teaching them the art of personal branding through sports. The Buckley girls basketball summer camp will run from June 12-16 for grades 1-8. Camp will start at 9:00 a.m. and end at 2:00 p.m. All participants will learn the fundamentals of ball handling, shooting, passing, team offense, and defense scoring and rotations. Participants will also have the opportunity to engage in learning activities that will increase their courage, confidence, and self-esteem. All drills and learning activities will be infused with fun games and competitions.

Description: This Program is designed for the children to explore, have fun, and feel successful in their abilities. Students will engage in games and activities that reinforce what is covered in primary physical education. We are focused on drills, skills, and thrills. All the games played are small-sided and modified for every student to find success. The objectives are learning, having fun, and experiencing multiple games and sports while at summer camp at Buckley.
Description: Fun arts and crafts with a twist. Campers will make edible arts and crafts with many different artistic approaches and then get to eat their design together at the end of the session.

Description: This summer course is designed for Middle and High School students. It’s an Introduction to fundamental yoga practices and principles. The class will focus on yoga postures and developing skills such as coordination, flexibility, proper alignment, and strength building. The students will also gain a fundamental understanding of the practices of relaxation techniques and breathing practices.
Description: Attention all aspiring moviemakers! Get ready for the adventure of a lifetime at the Movie Making Camp. This summer, you'll have the chance to bring your wildest movie ideas to life. Our amazing instructors will show you how to write a script, create storyboards, and use cool technology like iPads and apps to film and edit your movie. You'll learn all the tricks of the trade and have a blast making new friends along the way. By the end of the camp, you'll have your very own movie to share with family and friends. Get ready for an exciting and fun-filled summer full of creativity and movie magic!
Description: Students will build and operate a VEX robot in class. They will work with other students in a team setting to compete with their robot. The competitions are collaborative. Two teams combine their efforts to gain a combined score. Each team competes so they team up with every other team. Teams have the opportunity to modify or alter their robot to gain more points. The competition requires them to program the robot to operate in autonomous mode and in guided mode. The class is one week in length.

Dates Summer Camp consists of six week-long sessions with the exception of our Kindergarten Camps, which consist of three two-week-long sessions. Camp runs from June 12 to July 21. No camp offerings will be held on June 19 or July 4.

Registration Policy
All students must register using our online system. Payment is due in full at the time of registration, paid by credit card only.
Waitlist
Should a camp program reach full capacity, a waitlist will be started. When space is available a waitlisted camper will be contacted. To be placed on a waitlist, please contact Harley Faye at hfaye@buckley.org.
Cancellation Policy
The school reserves the right to close enrollment or to cancel a course offering. If a course is canceled, you will be notified seven days in advance. You’re entitled to a 100% refund should we need to cancel.
With the exception of the above, no refunds for classes will be issued for courses if a child withdraws after May 1, 2023. The tuition is 100% non-refundable after May 1. Students may register for additional courses at any time but must pay the full cost of the class. Should you need to withdraw from a course, please notify Dale Bartels in the Business Office at dbartels@buckley.org and Harley Faye at hfaye@buckley.org.
