• Gifts of Cash

  Contributions made by check, cash, or credit card are tax deductible in the year the donation is given. Please make checks payable to "The Buckley School." To make a donation with your credit card, you can use our online donation form or contact advancement@buckley.org.

• Gifts of Securities

  It is becoming more common for donors to make gifts of securities. If the security has appreciated greatly in value, you avoid capital gains taxes by gifting the stock directly to the school. We recommend that donors consult their financial advisor before making any final decision. For details about how to make a gift of stock, contact advancement@buckley.org.

• Make a Pledge

  You may make a pledge to the Buckley Fund or other area by contacting advancement@buckey.org. Pledges can be satisfied through a single contribution or in multiple payments at a time that is convenient for you. If your gift is to The Buckley Fund, all final payments are due no later than April 30 in the school year your gift was pledged.

• Matching Gifts

  Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match charitable contributions made by their employees. If you work for a company that matches gifts, you can double or triple the value of your contribution. Contact your Human Resources Department for eligibility information and to obtain a matching gift form, and follow your employer’s matching gift procedures.

• Wire Transfers

  The Buckley School is pleased to receive donations via wire transfer. For more information or for our incoming wire instructions, please contact advancement@buckley.org.

• Gifts in Kind

  Gift In Kind Donations are tangible goods and services donated to the school for which the donor can receive a tax deduction for the fair market value of the item. Before accepting Gifts In Kind, the appropriate school department should be contacted by the donor to determine our ability to use the specific item. Common Gifts In Kind are computers, books, and laboratory equipment.
  
  Please know that while Gifts-in-Kind are helpful to Buckley in a variety of ways, donating items and supporting drives does not count toward parent participation in the Buckley Fund.
  
  To ensure proper acknowledgment and a receipt to be used for tax purposes, please download and complete the Gifts In Kind form and send to advancement@buckley.org or fax 818-461-6714.
