Communications Interns Have Been Busy!

Buckley Communications interns have been hard at work in year two of the program, curating content and learning about the field through hands-on experience. Here’s a taste of what they’ve been working on…
Social Media and… TikTok!
  • Our interns have been learning what it means to post as a school brand, how to create authentic and polished content, and how social media can foster genuine connections with a greater audience. 
  • Buckley joined TikTok after increased interest from our student interns who are curious to learn more about the platform and to share Buckley’s story. Click here to follow us on TikTok. Don’t worry – we will still be posting regularly on Instagram and Facebook!
Website and Newsletter 
  • Noticed some familiar names in the byline of articles in the Good News Alert and on the website? Students are bringing their writing skills and unique voices to the internship by contributing to this newsletter and on the website! 
Good News Griffin Podcast 
  • Some of our interns have a keen interest in podcasting – and they’re great at it! Over the past few months they have interviewed faculty/staff for their podcast episodes which are featured in Good News Griffin. Check out Zach K.’s (‘24) first semester round-up podcast episode and Ryan L. (‘25) and Mitchell K.’s (‘25) podcast episodes interviewing Director of DEI Matt Balano and Director of Athletics & Wellness Amelia Mathis.
