On Thursday, January 10, fourth grade students took a field trip to visit multiple sites across downtown Los Angeles.
Students rode the famous Angels Flight Railway, a historical landmark that first opened in 1901, as well as visited the Central Public Library. They also viewed various murals and memorials, including a memorial in Biddy Mason Park dedicated to Biddy Mason, a Black midwife and leading citizen of Los Angeles.
Upper School students of Spanish 3 Honors, Spanish 4 Honors, and AP Spanish attended the dress rehearsal of the opera, El último sueño de Frida y Diego, and stopped for lunch at the Pueblo de Los Angeles on Olvera Street.
