Buckley Students Featured at the CSUN 22nd Annual High School Invitational
Six students will be representing Buckley at the 22nd Annual High School Invitational at the Cal State Northridge gallery from January 7-19.
The exhibition showcases selected works made by students from over thirty high schools in the San Fernando Valley. Buckley has participated in the exhibition since it began twenty-two years ago.
This year, the Visual Arts Department has selected artwork by the following students to represent Buckley: Rachel P. (drawing), Alexander A. (digital graphics), Leny C. (watercolor), Jem B. (photography), Owen S. (photography), and Eddie S. (ceramics). Click here to view the pieces that will be on display.
Once again, Buckley’s Middle and Upper School students participated in a rousing Spirit Week! Congratulations to our eighth and twelfth graders for winning the Middle and Upper Spirit Week Competitions.
One of our very own world changers, Kaylen M. ’19, was honored by the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT) Affiliate Award Committee as an NCWIT Los Angeles Honorable Mention Award Winner for Aspirations in Computing.
