Winter Playoffs Update
Boys varsity soccer, girls varsity basketball, and sixth grade boys red basketball team have all made impressive playoff runs this winter season.
Boys varsity soccer played in the first round of CIF playoffs yesterday against University Prep from Victorville. A fiercely fought game all the way to the end, University Prep scored a golden goal in overtime to win the game 1-0. Congratulations to senior Dash G. and Hal R. on an incredible final season, and to all of the players on their remarkable playoff run!
Just down the hill in the Disney Pavilion, the sixth grade boys red basketball team played an excellent game yesterday against AGBU. Down in the first half, the boys rallied to clinch a double-digit win in this semifinal game! The boys will go on to play at Faith Baptist on Thursday, February 23. Good luck!
Finally, the girls varsity basketball put forth a valiant effort against Pasadena Poly last Saturday in their first round of CIF playoffs, coming up just four points shy of the win. However, with the title of Liberty League Champions under their belts, the girls had an incredible run! Congratulations to senior Alyssa F. on a great last season, and to the entire team on a job well done.
