Shooting for the Stars: A Robert Young Library Exhibit

This month, when you enter the Robert Young Library, look all around and you’ll find the Shooting for the Stars: Black Women who Pioneered Space Travel exhibit for Black History Month.
This exhibit, curated by our incredible librarians, highlights astronauts, aeronautical engineers, a pilot, an astrobiologist, mathematicians, and a doctor who have made legacy contributions in the field of space flight. This exhibit goes hand in hand with what we might see in the March exhibit for Women’s History Month, so stay tuned!

Hanging from the ceiling and in between aisles of books, you can find lanterns created by Chase Holiday’s sixth grade Chinese class in celebration of Lunar New Year!
