The Return of the Middle School Spelling Bee
This month, for the first time since the pandemic, Middle School students returned to the CCA to cheer on their peers and teachers participating in the spelling bee.
Stretching to eight rounds, students were put to the challenge of spelling words like “mete”, “paschal”, “metropolis”, “portrait”, “triplicate”, and more!
Kudos to all the brave participants and the first, second, and third place winners:
- First place: Amelie B., Amelie will go on to represent The Buckley School at the LA Regional Bee on March 13 in North Hollywood!
- Second place: Samyuktha G.
- Third place (tie): Christopher N. & Silas L.-H.
