When you step into the Media and Tech lab, a new space on campus, you’ll find Virtual Reality exploration opportunities, microphones for podcasting, game design equipment, and other technology to boost learning in the classroom.
“It was our vision to create a K-12 space like no other on campus,” said Mr. Albert Park, K-12 Lead Technology Integrationist.
“In this room, students can use technology to problem-solve, innovate, and explore new tools for communication and storytelling.”
Before it was the Media and Tech Lab, this space was home to the senior lounge, textbook room, the technology office, and so much more. After construction began last summer, plans were made to incorporate modern design elements into a warm, bright space where students and faculty across Buckley’s K-12 divisions can gather to learn, brainstorm projects, and integrate technology into their learning.
Stay tuned for updates on the versatility of the space and the projects that come out of it!
