What a great day welcoming our sixth graders to campus!
They were giddy seeing one another in class, ate lunch on the bleachers at Gilley Field, made art, played counting games in Chinese, and overall reported a positive experience.
It was especially nice to see nerves calm as the day progressed. One new student shared, "I was really nervous at the beginning of the day, but by first period I felt I was a full member of the Buckley community!"
Upper School students of Spanish 3 Honors, Spanish 4 Honors, and AP Spanish attended the dress rehearsal of the opera, El último sueño de Frida y Diego, and stopped for lunch at the Pueblo de Los Angeles on Olvera Street.
