This semester, twenty-seven Middle School Mentors in seventh and eighth grade met weekly with their Lower School Mentees.
After training to become mentors, our Middle School students held weekly sessions with Lower School students. Both groups of students have enjoyed learning and playing together.
Session II will begin the first week of February and will run for ten weeks through April. If your student is interested in applying, please look out for more information about how to apply when we return from winter break. This session, sixth graders are also welcome to apply as mentors, too.
We are very proud of our Middle School mentors! Thank you, students, for being excellent leaders and role models for our Lower Schoolers!
Upper School students of Spanish 3 Honors, Spanish 4 Honors, and AP Spanish attended the dress rehearsal of the opera, El último sueño de Frida y Diego, and stopped for lunch at the Pueblo de Los Angeles on Olvera Street.
