Student Jasper G. participated in Covenant House’s International Sleep Out fundraiser for the fourth year in a row.
This is the eighth year that Covenant House California has run a Sleep Out at its Hollywood location in a symbolic act of solidarity. When Jasper first joined the Sleep Out four years ago, he was the youngest participant. This year, because of COVID-19, the programming occurred virtually, and Jasper and his family “slept out” at home. They were able to meet their goal and raised over $23,000.
Congratulations to Jasper for his ongoing commitment to this organization throughout the pandemic!
Upper School students of Spanish 3 Honors, Spanish 4 Honors, and AP Spanish attended the dress rehearsal of the opera, El último sueño de Frida y Diego, and stopped for lunch at the Pueblo de Los Angeles on Olvera Street.
