Recipe: Oreo Lollipops
Mo and I makde Oreo lollipops dipped in melted red, white and blue chocolate. Check out the recipe--I made this one up!
Ingredients:
Double Stuffed Oreos
Melting chocolates (we ordered from Wilton’s)
Lollipop sticks (also from Wiltons)
Directions:
- Twist off one side of the oreo cookie so that the cream is exposed
- Insert lollipop stick
- Replace oreo cookie and press gently so as not to break the cookie but firmly enough for it to adhere to the cream
- Melt melting chocolates according to package directions in the microwave (do not use a double boiler – we tried and it did not work!)
- Dip oreo lollipop into melted chocolate.
- Cool on wax or parchment paper.
- Bon appetit!
