Eugepae, Annika!

If you see Upper School student Annika R., please congratulate her with a warm, “Eugepae!” She’ll be speaking Latin this summer, so she’ll appreciate the ancient chit-chat!
Annika recently won a national essay contest with her essay, “Catiline--The Musical: Is Rome’s Notorious Conspirator a Demagogic Villain or a Populist Hero?” The prize is awarded by the Paideia Institute for Humanistic Study, a non-profit educational organization that promotes classical languages.

The amazing reward is an all-expenses-paid summer study institute in Rome where, among other things, Annika will be studying spoken Latin.
