Middle School Students Participate in Science Olympiad
Our Middle School science Olympians -- Tommy B., Jordyn B., Cameron C., Tucker C., Beckham C., Aidan D., Brooks F., Ben F., Liam G., Luke G., Paul H., Paulina J., Ella S., Sawyer S., and Chloe W. -- participated in a full day of STEM Olympics at the 2019 LA Regional Science Olympiad.
The four highest placements for our Olympians were as follows:
- Fourth Place - Elastic Launch Glider (Cameron, Paul, and Aidan). They each received a special medal for placing in the Top 6.
- Tenth Place - Road Scholar (Luke and Jordyn)
- Eleventh Place - Circuit Lab (Beckham and Tucker)
- Twelfth Place - Roller Coaster (Cameron, Paul, and Aidan)
Buckley showed up and represented our school proudly. Congratulations to our Olympians and their fearless leader Ms. Joanne Firestone for all of their hard work!
