  • Step 1: Notify Buckley of your financial aid application by December 15

    New applicants must indicate on your admission application by December 15, that you are applying for financial aid. If you have completed your school admission application prior to December 15, please see Step 3.

    Current Buckley families: Please contact Aida Torossian in the Business Office at atorossian@buckley.org for more information regarding financial aid. Please do not fill out The Buckley School Financial Aid Inquiry Form.
  • Step 2: Complete The Buckley School Financial Aid Inquiry Form for the 2019–2020 school year

    The Buckley School's Financial Aid Inquiry Form can be found here. The School and Student Services (SSS) by NAIS paperwork will be available online starting in November. The Admission Office will send further information shortly after receiving your completed Financial Aid Inquiry Form. Please prepare to complete your taxes as early as possible in order to meet all deadlines.
  • Step 3: Complete an online Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS) with School and Student Services (SSS) by NAIS by February 15, 2019

    Detailed information can be found on the SSS website. The deadline to submit all forms and supplemental materials to SSS is February 15, 2019.
  • Step 4: File a completed Financial Aid Materials Cover Sheet

    File a completed Financial Aid Materials Cover Sheet and mail all supplemental financial aid materials directly to SSS in order for documents to be matched with your PFS.

    You obtain the Financial Aid Materials Cover Sheet by logging onto your SSS account. All new families and those returning to Buckley who are applying for financial aid will send all of their required documents directly to SSS’s highly secure server or processing center in order for their materials to be processed in a timely manner.

    You may also scan and upload all of your supplemental materials. Your materials will then be securely matched to your online PFS. Uploading documents does not allow schools to see your information instantly, but schools will be able to review your documents faster than if you mail them to the SSS processing center.
    Supplemental materials include:
    • A copy of your signed and completed 2018 U.S. Individual Income Tax Return (Form 1040)
    • All supporting 2018 Schedules and W-2 forms
    • A copy of your signed and completed 2017 U.S. Individual Income Tax Return (Form 1040), all schedules, and W-2 forms
    • A signed and dated, IRS Form 4506-T
    • Buckley’s Family Monthly Budget Worksheet
    • The Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS), which should be filed online, is available at sss.nais.org. Buckley’s school code for the PFS is 1947.
