The Buckley Readers Club (BRC) is a non-competitive book club designed to increase students’ awareness and enjoyment of quality literature. Book lists are provided for each of the categories noted below. Students are encouraged to participate and set goals suitable for their age and development. The categories are divided by grades and span three years.

Log-in slips are located in the Lower School Library on the BRC shelf. Students record the books they’ve read on these forms and leave them in the tray. A library volunteer enters the information into the student’s electronic file. Many books on our lists are read in the classroom and during library class. Students may submit log-in slips for any books they’ve read themselves as well as those they've had read to them.

A description of the recognition opportunities is noted below. We encourage students to set goals and track their progress.
