Middle School Art Project Featured in 'School Arts' magazine
Congratulations to Visual Arts chair Ellen Mahoney, who was published this month in School Arts magazine, for the ninth time! Her article, “Underneath the Surface,” explores the historical importance of storytelling in clay, and showcases several of the personalized lidded jars that Buckley Middle School artists have designed. “My goal … was for students to create a ceramic vessel to capture a favorite thing at this moment in their lives.” Read more about the project here.
