The Fair has been one of Buckley’s most revered traditions since the first was held by Isabelle Buckley more than 40 years ago. While The Fair has been reimagined many times over the years from a huge bash on Gilley Field -- elephant rides were even offered once in the ’70s! -- to a complete takeover of the Santa Monica Pier, one thing remains constant: The Fair brings Buckley together like no other event.
We are reimagining The Fair once again this year! Since we cannot gather at Santa Monica Pier, join us for our first ever (and hopefully last!) virtual fair-- "The Not Your Average Fair" Fair: A Virtual Buckley Variety Show! -- on May 21.
Visit this page often for updates on the line-up for the show. We are so grateful to the members of our community who are agreeing to share their talents with us and bring some joy to Buckley families, alumni and friends.
The Fair is also one of Buckley’s most important fundraising events of the year. The global coronavirus pandemic has affected financial circumstances for many of our families who are facing difficult decisions regarding tuition for next year. The Griffin Relief Fund 2020 was established to provide short-term tuition assistance to families with unexpected financial need as a result of the pandemic. The “Not Your Average Fair” Fair will raise awareness of and funds for the Griffin Relief Fund.
See you on May 21!
