As Buckley’s swim team prepares to dive in for the start of the season, practices are in full swing. Head Coach Juliet Suess is bringing a new coaching style that encourages the strengthening of athletes’ minds and bodies.
At the end of each season, as seniors gear up for their last game on their home field or in their home gym, we take time to celebrate the time seniors spent with their teammates and at the school.
At age 14, Buckley’s Madison P. has qualified to go to the Summer Junior Olympics for swimming after a meet at the Cranberry Classic in Santa Clarita where she qualified for her 100M backstroke.
Winter sports teams kicked off their seasons early in November. You can find boys basketball, girls basketball, girls soccer, boys soccer, and equestrian bringing their energy and athleticism to the courts throughout the season.
The division heads and our plant operations/health and safety team have been working to develop a schedule to invite to campus advisory groups in the Middle/Upper School and half-homeroom groups in the Lower School. We began to pilot this program with our athletes and seniors.
