The Upper School Summer School provides the opportunity for students entering grades nine through twelve to enroll in one academic class that is equivalent to a full year of history, mathematics, science, or computer science, or one trimester of health. These classes satisfy the school's graduation requirements, offer students advanced study in a subject area, and allow students to schedule classes with greater flexibility during the school year.
NOTE: REVISED SCHEDULE INFORMATION BELOW
The 2013 Upper School Summer School will begin on Monday, June 17, and end on Friday, July 26. All classes meet daily from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. with the exception of Introduction to Programming and Health (please see those course descriptions). School will be closed on Thursday, July 4, and Friday, July 5. First semester final exams will be administered on Wednesday, July 3*. Second semester final exams will be given on Friday, July 26*.
*Students must be in attendance for final exams to receive credit for summer school. Exams will not be rescheduled.
Fees for academic classes are $2,200; online computer science is $1,050; health is $525. Registration is only available online through this website starting on Tuesday, March 5th, at 5 p.m.
