Recap: Thirteenth Annual Alumni Basketball Game
Alumni came back in full force on Friday, January 6 for our thirteenth annual alumni basketball game. Thank you to the 20-plus alumni who played such a high-energy game, and thank you to all of those that came out to cheer them on!
With athletic trainer and teacher Rob Wright commentating and Upper School Dean George Russo refereeing, the event was a trip down memory lane as much as it was a basketball game. Sherm, Coach Conley, Coach Klay, Mel, Ms. Stern, Ms. Woldman (class of 1984), Coach Hamilton, Ms. Basmagian, and Mr. Busby all stopped by to say hello and cheer on those playing, as did former classmates, and current students and parents.
At half time, one player from each team was elected to represent each side in a layup-free throw-three point shot contest. It came down to the three point shot for Nish Muthsamy '16 and Andrew Farhadi '10, with Nish winning in the end!
After the game, all were invited to the Local Peasant for drinks and appetizers.
