This week many events and celebrations were held as we said our goodbyes, wrapping a bow around the 2011-2012 school year—a time a great growth and change at Buckley.
Early in the week, the Lower School held the last concerts of the year, where students in kindergarten-5th grade.
On Thursday, the 5th grade held its celebration, excited to move “across the street” to the Middle School.
And today, closing ceremonies were held across campus, from the Lower School where the 5th grade performed All You Need is Love and said farewell to departing faculty to the Middle and Upper School that enjoyed a closing assembly with spring athletic awards and a talent show. To top off the year, a Building Farewell event was held to bid adieu to the current building and celebrate the ground breaking for the new Science and Mathematics Building. MUS students commemorated this memory with fun photo booths.
We thank every member of this community for another incredible year and look forward to seeing you in the fall. Have a joyous summer.
